Since start of placement session for batch 2009-10 CollegeKhabar is trying to cover as many updates as possible. Software companies k naam to badi khushi khushi gina diye tumne..Thoda core comapies k bare men b bata hi do k EC ya EE ya k kitne % bachche core comapnies men placed hote hain?? Na tumhare yahan Texas Instruments aati hai, na hi Analog devices (hopefully in companies k naam jaroor sune honge),na hi tumhare yahan Goldman Sachs aati hai,NETapp b nahi hi aati hai..MCAFEE b nahi hai..Agar un companies ki list bataun jo tere is donation based college men nahi aati hain to lambi list ban jayegi..
Main NIT Surathkal ka student nahi hun..Lekin NIT ka hi student hun..Abhi tak mere college men EC k 60 bachcho (total 60 elegible in EC..means 100% placement,with 17 second job) k liye 25+ comanies aa chuki hain..CS ka avg package 6.5+ hai hamare yahan..Kabhi apne yahan ka avg package dekhna aur fir post karna..TCS,Infy ko hata diya jaye to 20% placement b nahi hota tere yahan..

7 lac fee dekar padho(agar donation nahi diya hai to :) :) ) aur 3 lac ki naukri lo..Yahi hai VIT ki sachchai..In private colleges ne to engineering ki reputation hi bigad d hai...

2) i dont hide that VIT does not take donation but you must know that we dont get huge money like you guys do from govt and still where it is ???? with due respect to NITs i have been to NIT warangle and TRICHY to present papers but the infrastructure is less than impressive my father is from NIT jamshedpur and he himself loathed the time when his hostels never had a single window or proper toilets i agree BRAINS determine the college but that does not mean not to improve infrastructure.

VITEEE i came through this and so did lot of other ppl and i am not a duffer because i got under 8 thousand rank in AIEEE and i am from kanpur where it was a prof in IIT who is also my fathers friend that advised us to come here
4) of course certain NITS rock but not all , barring 5 or 6 baaki NITs ka haal mujhe bhi pata hai , mere bhi kaafi dost hai NITS main but i am not crying NITS suck because they are good colleges but if u will show arrogance then that will show "EDUCATION" of ur colleges.
5) and PLZ NIT guys even NIT was not your first choice because you guys aimed for IITS even aapko bhi woh nahi milla jo aapko chahiye tha , kisi ne zyada adjust kiya kisi ne thoda
6) we have students who get into prestigious colleges like STANFORD to CAMBRIDGE . my room partner is going to IMPERIAL with scolarship so dont say we dont have brains. SPJAIN marketing branch main sabse zyada students VIT se hai (see urself by visiting the website and downloading the PDF) from CAT to GATE we have toppers in these exams.

6) @ABC hamaari ranking india today main hi nahi , DATAQUEST aur outlook main bhi hai aap plz khud hi dekh lo. we have ABET accreditation which is very difficult to get and we are first indian institute to get that and we have good research going on and did india today sent you tha mail that they have got money from us and boosted our rank just because you have an image of pvt colleges you can not deduce anything itna to ENGG. main bhi padha hoga ki jab tak proof na ho deduction nahi kiya jata.
7) i agree what AMAN said was not courteous but you guys did not show the GENTLEMAN behaviour either look at the language .see aagey chal kar corporate life main har koi aisi hi baat karega aur tab zaroori hota hai gussa mat aaney dena i agree u all love your college but this is not the way of discussion.

i am very confused i had taken a seat in vit.... and i had 15665 rank in aieee but i belong to gen and rajsthan state........

and by luck or wht i had selet for dhirubhiaaa, but i had seen there that they offer only ict branch and they offer only 7.5 highest package well vit has highest of 11 lakh...... or some nit has more........
