Shortlisting: Short listing of CV has been done on basis of CGPA only. For General category minimum CGPA required was 6.5. Higher CGPA is given preference. For other category minimum CGPA under consideration was 6.0.
Group Discussion: General topics only.
Interview: Interview was based on technical questions and very few lesser important HR questions. Summer Training has much higher part in interview. Most of questions were asked related to Vocational/summer training of the candidate. Those students who have done their training in BPCL were given absolute preference. We advise all students who will going to appear in BPCL interviews in future should thoroughly go through their summer training project and report.

BPCL was formed by the Government of India in 1977, as a part of nationalisation of oil companies. BPCL took over refining operations of Burmah Shell Refining Limited and marketing /distribution operations of Burmah Shell Oil and Storage Distribution Company.
