JBIMS Mumbai has successfully closed the placements for the MBA class of 2015. JBIMS is among the very few B Schools today which still enjoy a small batch size and hence can leverage the benefits of it. Class of 2015 at JBIMS had 120 students, of which 117 participated in the Final Placements process.

Banking and Finance was the strongest area in terms of offers and profiles offered
BCG and Accenture Strategy were the major names in Consulting arena
More than 50% of the batch had PPOs / PPIs
High number of students opted for front end Investment Banking roles
Average domestic CTC stood at INR 17.42 lac
Highest domestic CTC stood at INR 35 lac
Total of 75 companies made offers to JBIMS Mumbai students
Front end Investment Banking roles were offered by Barclays Capital, ICICI Securities, Religare and ICICI Securities.
Goldman Sachs, DE Shaw, Axis Securities and JP Morgan offered middle office, IT and Support roles in Investment Banking.
Other major players in the domain included Standard Chartered, Citibank, HSBC, ICICI Bank, HDFC, Yes Bank and State Bank of India which offered Corporate Banking, Treasury and Retail roles.
Indus Valley Partners offered Hedge Funds and Investment Management role.
Risk Management roles were offered by Royal Bank of Scotland, Indiabulls and CRISIL.
Sales and Marketing roles were offered by players like Hindustan Unilever, ITC, Colgate Palmolive, Britannia, Cipla, Sanofi and Wrigley-Mars.
Technology, Consumer Products and e-Commerce
e-commerce saw the presence of only Flipkart. This may be owed to higher interest of JBIMS Students for finance sector as compared to e-commerce.
Technology companies included Google, TCS, Hexaware, Wipro and IBM.
Consumer Products companies were represented by the likes of Samsung, Arvind Brands, Tata Steel and Hero MotoCorp.
Consulting and General Management
Leading recruiters to offer Business Consulting roles were Accenture Strategy, BCG, Jones Lang LaSalle, ZS Associates, Infosys and Ernst and Young.
General Management roles were offered by major names like Mahindra, Trident Group, Future Group, HDFC Standard Life and Raymond.
