Despite of Metro mishap in Delhi and being black listed by DMRC Gammon India still have plenty of projects in hand. To cater growing demand Gammon India currently recruiting fresh engineering graduates. In this process they run a special recruitment drive at Guwahati for NIT Silchar. Branched eligible is only Civil Engineering.

Aptitude testwas quite easy. It was divided in 3 parts:

1. Simple English
2. General aptitude
3. Basic technical questions related to civil engineering

Interview:Interview process was bit surprising as more focus is on HR rather than technical.

Technical questions asked in interview were:

1. What are the types of foundations?

2. Different constituent of cement and their relative %ages.

3. Grading of sand?

4. Details of building designing

5. Bending movement and moment of inertia?

6. Bridge Engineering
